SCROLL DOWN

A LABORATORY

Pursuit is a laboratory that supports the work of director Kacie Smith and choreographer Ahmad Simmons as well as the creation of new interdisciplinary work in Chicago. We work with a variety of artists in a variety of mediums to to tell stories in innovative ways.  While the aesthetics, genre and medium of the projects may vary widely – every piece shares a desire to create something exceptional and push forward its respective form, giving the audience a unique and memorable shared experience.

We are always looking for new projects and to support fellow writers and creators.
